Tour Information
Touro Synagogue is a National Historic Site and an affiliate property of the
National Trust for Historic Preservation. Every year approximately 30,000 visitors
from around the world come to visit Touro Synagogue, delight in its magnificent
architecture, and hear its remarkable and inspiring story.
Public Tours:
DATES: May 1, 2008 - June 30, 2008
Monday - Friday: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Tours begin every half hour. Last tour at 2:30.
*Closed June 9 and 10 in observance of Shavuot
Sunday, June 15: Last tour at 1:00 pm
Sunday, June 22: Last tour at 1:00 pm
Additional Hours:
Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day): 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Tours begin every half hour. Last tour at 4:30.

Tickets for tours may be purchased at the Touro Synagogue Foundation Gift Shop
during regularly scheduled tour hours or at the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Group Tours:
Group tours for 10 or more people during regular tour hours may be scheduled by
contacting 401-847-4794 x23.
Group Tour Fee: $55.00
Length of tour is approximately 25 minutes.
Special Group Tours:
Special group tours for 10 or more people for times outside of regular tour hours may be scheduled by contacting 401-847-4794 x23.
Special Group Tour Fee: $110.00
Length of tour is approximately 25 minutes.

regularly scheduled public tour hours or at the
