Tour Information

Touro Synagogue is a National Historic Site and an affiliate property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Every year approximately 30,000 visitors from around the world come to visit Touro Synagogue, delight in its magnificent architecture, and hear its remarkable and inspiring story.

Synagogue and Gift Shop Hours:
 

DATES: November 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009

Sunday 12 pm - 2 pm
Tours begin every half hour.

^*No tours on Saturday or Jewish holidays

DATES: January 1, 2010 - March 13, 2010

No regularly scheduled tours except as noted

^*Open for tours 12 to 2 PM Sunday, February 14, 2010 and Monday, February 15, 2010 only

DATES: March 14, 2010 - April 30, 2010

Tours begin every half hour.

Group Tours:

Groups wishing to visit Touro Synagogue should make advance reservations by contacting 401.847.4794.

Tours last approximately 30 minutes and are capped at 60 individuals.

Private group tours outside of regularly scheduled operating hours:   Fee: $150
We can accommodate a maximum of 60 individuals in the Synagogue at a time.   Larger groups must be split up so as not to exceed this limit.  The fee for each additional tour is $75.  For these large groups, we can offer additional programming in addition to the Synagogue Tour.
